ABOUT US
The Marching Elite Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities for youth and young adults in the marching arts. These opportunities occur in a safe setting which promotes the social and artistic development of participants through creative programs, designed with the highest possible quality of leadership and instruction.
The marching activity has been described as a rare combination of musical entertainment, physical activity, competition, social opportunities, travel, and fun. It is about learning, coping and growing. It is an activity in which you can put your talents to the test and push your own limits. The test is the pursuit of excellence, both as an individual and as a member of the team. The marching activity is full of excitement, opportunity, and challenge. Our Programs
The Marching Elite Music and Arts After-School Program is located in East Baltimore. Grades 4th - 8th can participant in learning instrumental music, dance, or color guard, with academic support, meals, and transportation.
The Mid-Atlantic Sounds is a non-competitive instrumental wind program for youth and young adults ages 9-19. No experience is necessary.
The Standard Competitive Drumline is for youth and young adults ages 9 - 19 who have some experience in marching percussion.
Elite Fire Competitive Dance Team is for youth and young adults ages 9 - 19 who have some experience in dance.
Crimson Blaze Competitive Color Guard is for youth and young adults 9 - 19 who have an interest or experience in color guard.
Elite All-Stars Marching Band is for youth and young adults ages 16 and up who have intermediate to advanced skills in instrumental music, dance, or color guard to travel and perform nationally and internationally.
The Elite Experience Summer Program is for youth ages 9 - 21 who enjoy a 5-week summer program full of creative and fun lessons in instrumental music, dance, color guard, or media while having opportunities in literacy, college and career readiness, nutritious meals, transportation, field trips, and performances.
